A First Mother’s Day

Today I thought it would be appropriate to post a sweet family collective.

Little baby C came into the world this March 14th.

It will be this family’s first Mother’s Day and I wish them a wonderful time!

Zillions of Pillows

The Zillow office by JPC Architects: This hip space was visually striking and beautiful to walk through. The first photo is the main area you would enter into. The blue on the wall represents sky, and the floor in the represents concrete / streets (note the dark lines). You’ll notice that tonal lines continue up the walls. There is a “living room” space through those glass doors for collaboration.

There isn’t a traditional reception area as you’re meant to feel like you are walking into a living room (note the kitchen next to the main entry door in the 2nd photo. Pillows are everywhere throughout the space because “Zillow” is a combination of the word “zillions” as in zillions of data points, and the word “pillow” which represents the place you rest your head, or your comfortable home. Zillions of pillows… hmm sounds nice!

Had I been able to pick the time of day to shoot, I definitely would have waited until dusk, however we were working under someone else’s timeline… so there is my disclaimer.

It seems I’m behind in posting again – but I’ve got lots to share! We did a shoot with little Baby “O” who slept through the whole session! We were able to take full advantage of her cute-ness and some fun props.

Big sis says, “She’s alright with me”
